Control Your Temper

Every one is not as well educated or as well brought up as you may be. So give the poor fellow on the lower rung a leeway. By so doing you are doing yourself a bigger favour than the person you are being kind to. Save time, give way to a motorist even if you have the right of way and with a smile. It adds to your serenity and beautifies your facial muscles.

Wear a pearl studded silver ring on your little finger. It will help or at least remind you of your resolve. I have known persons in late sixties conquering their anger. If you are younger, chances are greater. In any case there is no harm in trying.

And remember failures are those who want to fail.

Go ahead and be happy ever after – God is with you.

Shortest Route to Happiness

There are many factors that give a person happiness, like health, wealth, love, friendship, environment, etc. But the absence of a single factor can bring maximum happiness. And that is ANGER.

Anger harms your body by releasing adrenalin every time you fly off the handle. (Also known as ‘Fight or Flight Hormone’. This mechanism is there in nature to cope in emergency or during war-like situation). And in peacetime it causes atherosclerosis and high blood pressure, severely damaging your heart. In mental sphere anger causes you distress followed by enmity towards or sorrow for the object of your ire. Both negative feelings.

There is another feeling that feeds your Anger - PRIDE. Be proud of your deeds and leave it at that; don’t carry the feeling under your skin. This can enhance your rage. Don’t compare your self with lesser mortals.
